Ok people, this one seems to be working.

Bit ugly but functional...

I'll set up forums for us much the same as the old one, but in the mean time please bear in mind that this forum is PUBLIC. So play nice.

MODE Members: After registering, either shoot an email message to info@mode.org.au with your forum username or just wait (we'll notice you, promise), and we'll promote you to the appropriate user group.

EDIT: Hey people, I'm just going to go through this thread and delete all the "I'm in/I just registered" type posts. Doing this so we don't miss any NEW ones. As of right now, if you've registered and a MODE Member, you've been added to the privileged group.

MODEsters: you might have noticed that I had previously said you could post here to get promoted to the "MODE Members" group. Unfortunately I had to restrict posting privileges for new users due to knuckle-heads posting random garbage. You *CAN* still post here, but you won't be able to see your post until a moderator approves it...which is a bit confusing.

For the next little while at least you really don't need to do anything because we'll notice you've registered and promote you without being asked (if we know who y'are, of course!) But if it's not happening shoot a message to MonaroAdmin: just click on the username attached to this post, and choose "send email"

Hey guys, I had to add one of those dopey image things to the register screen, as we were getting hit by the "SPAMBOTS" (kinda like Austin Powers FEMBOTS, but with more spam and much less interesting stuff.)

Anyhoooooo....If you have any problems registering send a mail to the admin.

edit: we were still having some issues, now there is a question for you to answer too. Hopefully not too hard...
