Interesting Article - Manual Gearbox

Found this on autoevolution forum.

7 speed manual.... :o I've got enough to do with 6..

As an owner who likes the "organic driving" experience I thought the attitude of the US driver mirrored ours as "enthusiasts" in our purchases...

The video of the late great Ayrton is pretty good, the only thing that I found a little upsetting was he was searching for grip with the accelerator out of the corners, I did that on a HSV drive day and Fabian Coulthard criticized me. 'Spose it's horses for courses with the modern electronic driver aids...

Plastic is fantastic
No doubt about it I gotta get another hat!Image

and on the opposite side of the coin...from carscoops

Love that sound though, you gotta love a crazy Italian...pity the driver, probably a local, had very little idea of how to control her..

The US cop on the pushbike is slightly amusing as well down below the Odyssey recall.

Jap Lambo driver: Classic example of someone who shouldn't be allowed to drive AT ALL...let alone anything with a bit of performance. What a douche...

Ayrton on the other hand....never liked him much at the height of his fame (I think he epitomized the "boringness" that stopped me following F1...race after race it was Senna/McClaren plus the other McLaren in #2), BUT...watching him work those Gucci loafers and keeping the engine spinning...amazing.

Thanks for posting Pedro D Sanchez! :D
