Dan Ricciardo wins his maiden F1 GP in Canada...

Red Bull were happy just to qualify on the 3rd row of the grid and the kid wins his first race on a track where horsepower counts. What a great win for who appears to be and in my limited experience is a really great young bloke...

On ya looks like the first of many and he is certainly justifying his promotion into the 'A' team of RBR this year....

Third in the championship table too...

Yeah - I've watched all the F1 races this year & it's worth sitting up to the wee hours to see this young guy get stuck into his more experienced rivals.

I think today's win is the start of a long & successful career.

This is a fair indication of the new kid on the block...When I saw him next to me in Lorne at breakfast a couple of years ago he was just as unassuming and polite.

Check out the reaction at the end when Brundle said "You're on your way now..."
