I was watching Sunrise this morning (rarely) & Beretta announced that CH7 are going to cover the Bathurst 12 Hour live on free to air & 7mate next year - Big news as far as Beretta was concerned but that idiot Kochie couldn't help himself by saying "that's great but the V8's are a bit of a dinosaur now"
Isn't that lovely? CH7 still have the rest of the 2014 season to telecast & one of it's so-called stars bags the series on national tv - great PR & poor form cause they lost out to CH10.

Mate, I can't believe you listen to that bald headed loon.
He is also the one who said that "We just don't like your cars" when both the Ford and Holden factory closures were announced.
It is economists like him that are destroying this county. We are a hole in the ground and a farm. We have iron ore and gas but send it overseas and pay for the stuff our resources make.
Because of economists we value ad nothing.
I can't see how employing steel workers to sell steel and miners for concrete made in our own industries, employing aussies who support the worker in supply and industry, I go by the 20% rule - employ 1 support 5. The guy from Carr industries who supply Holden and Ford with parts, with the closure 32 jobs go including his, not only their business but as he pointed out, even the guy that feeds the vending machine in their meal room, not to mention the drivers who deliver the parts etc...
We live in a fools paradise. They say our unemployment rate is low but I know of at least 3 couples where one of the spouses is seeking employment but not registered for the dole or anything else as they live in a home with a working partner and don't qualify for any Govt. assistance.
I feel for the future of Australia, I really believe that our kids are in big trouble, service industries are crap. We need manufacturing and all that is associated with that.
Australia will be a 3rd world country within a generation if we don't smarten up...
