I read in Speedcafe today that Larry has sold his Racing Entitlements Contracts to Kelly Racing and is selling some memorabilia on eBay. Sad end to a great era in Australian Motor Sport.

I will never forget CLowndes' crash at Calder in the HRT Commodore and while everyone rushes over to get him out of the car, LP sees there's enough help and walks to the other side of the wreck to see how the chassis was put together . I also remember the stories of him rigging the brake lights to come on a fraction of a second later than he put his foot on the brake to fool everyone into thinking he was braking later than he was.....wanting others to try and out brake him..
