speed at 1000 revs

hi everybody just bought a really nice 2005 vz cv8 4 speed auto monaro, a question please what road speed should i get at 2000 revs in top gear auto trans ,i`m getting roughly 100kl/hr. that seems a lot of revs, i am concerned that maybe convertor is not locking up kind regards to all,Dave

I have a manual so I can't really supply an answer however my RPM around 110kph is 1600 to 1700 maybe 1800, the autos do rev higher...in 6th it'll nearly cruise for ever...
No doubt about it I gotta get another hat!
